I highly recommend John Houston's "Fat City" (1972) with sexy Stacy Keach and young, lean and muscular Jeff Bridges. It's a story about a washed up boxer (Keach), a young upcoming boxer (Bridges) and the lives of people on the margins. It has great cinematography and issues that are still relevant today. The best parts are the boxing scenes which have a rhythm and poetry that's only matched by "Raging Bull" (1980).
A great film for fans of Boxing and Wrestling and John Houston at the top of his game!!
