Expect that most of the people who respond are either much too far away to meet you in person or are more interested in talking about wrestling or fantasy chatting than actually wrestling. Don't think of those things as faults but rather accept them as part of this social media network. If you want to learn about other's experiences or chat about what you'd like to do but probably never will then jump right in. If you are strictly interested in finding opponents just tell them that. Either way it can be a pleasant way to pass some time and you might make a few new friends.
Very well put. Also, check out the members who have at least 1 match per month. They tend to be more reliable and more active. People who have been on the site for 5-6 years (or longer) with zero matches are not serious in my opinion.
As a novice on here myself I have to say I'm actually quite daunted by the members you mention, some of whom clock up dozens of opponents in as many weeks and hundreds over the course of the years. My reaction is, How could I possibly hold my own against them, they'd wipe the floor with me? And I suffer the double handicap of only being 130 lbs. For every member of my size there seem to be about 100 big guys, and so far I haven't seen anyone my size and inexperience on here within 100 miles. I don't really know how I 'm going to get started.
It's not that,I've been here for awhile and hadn't had a match due to not being able to host, or from people not my type in which they are too old or out of my strength range. I had one match which lasted an hour then left the site soon after. So no rematch lol. Hoping for another one day
It’s difficult to say exactly what you can expect on here. As others have said above you can’t really judge people on here just by their profiles or their combat records as personal circumstances vary. I find, as with all platforms I have been on, that conversing with people who contact you or who you make the first contact with is the way to gauge whether that contact progresses. Just having similar interests on profiles or finding someone looks like your kind of opponent doesn’t guarantee you will get on with them and have an enjoyable experience. As with everything in life there will be good and bad experiences.

1 match per month? Maybe if you live in a big city 😄.
