The day before a fight I avoid any exercise because I don't want to be in recovery when I get on the mat. I try to get plenty of sleep for the few days before, to ensure I will be at my best, but I am not very disciplined when it comes to going to bed early... I am on the internet far too much, on fine sites like this one!
After a match, if I am REALLY lucky, I get a massage. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does, it makes a huge difference. The trouble is finding the right volunteer...!
If it's a competition, I usually have some sort of energy drink about half an hour before my first match. I'm not sure if it actually helps or if it's only for good luck. After the match I sometimes find I have pulled something (shoulder or back) and need to put something on it (not going to say brand).
I don't prepare much for private matches. Make sure you turn up reasonably clean. :)
A) I get nervous as hell before a match so I try to do something totally unrelated, like read some history or go shopping! Do make sure I have everything I might need though, like trunks and a spare pair, wet wipes, plasters, neurofen!!
B) keep moving to avoid stiffness and a good hot shower or bath. I do like to relax afterwards by just chatting to my opponent about wrestling or life in general, it's good to make mates out of this. Funnily enough I'm seldom very hungry. Also, if a good meet, compose the recommendation!

a. to prepare for a match, and
b. to aid recovery post match (alcohol aside!)?
