I am already doing that with my fight club, NorthTown Fight Club. I arrange club meets once a month at the selby matroom. I want to extend the club meets to Pippas and Rochdale. I need more members. All skill levels welcome. Im getting a Cage Fund together too. The fee is usually £10 and the surplus goes to the cage fund. If anyone has any sugesstions about the club then let me know.
Guys, just a thought. There are some brill rasslers who sometimes have a fight and with an audience present. Perhaps we could do more of these and charge a fee of about £5 - £10 a head and, once the venue is paid, any surplus could be given to local/regional/national HIV/sexual health voluntary organisations e.g. GHT, BPNW, THT? Any views?
We could even make a day of it - perhaps one Saturday and have some of the less expert having a go in the ring as well? I'd volunteer for a 'Tuxedo match' (type it in to Youtube - esp Harvery Whippleman) with a height/weight matched guy at Pippa's, for example.
