Of course all of these questions are predicated on you wanting to advance... maybe you earned your blue belt at another gym, and now you're at a nogi no belt kind of place.
No, Yes, Yes, 3 times a week except a year out for Covid and recently have an umbilical hernia that is acting up to be operated on 11/5. (acted up about 8/5)..Recovery period is abut 2 weeks after the surgery and anxious to return. The oldest one I roll against is 26 years younger than me and most that I roll against are 35-50 years younger than me thus I do expect to get tapped more often than would normally be expected as a blue belt. There are white belts I win against and white belts I lose against. I do both gi and no gi, ni gi this particular year being a little more frequent. Due to Covid our gym dropped from 2 locations to one with opportunities to take both gi and no gi the same night. Not complaining but since someone mentioned their belt history just decided to add mine. Fwiw have had absolutely no luck finding training partners from this site despite buying mats on 4/2, having an air conditioned negatively vented room, and being on a 24/7 transit route. Ageism on this site is very high. Hope that explains things.

Do you regularly tap belts above you? Are you making progress in technique? Do you get submitted by white belts? How often do you go to class?
