Mattz and I wrestled years ago in SF and what a great match-up it was. Brilliant guy, very strong, very skilled and very memorable experience. top guy.

Great guy. Good start at BJJ–I think he will get his blue belt soon. Tough and good natured about the strikes when he does sub with body punches.

He is strong and agile, and a good wrestler now, and he will only get better.

Well, I told him before that a mutual friend said he had been voted as the most favorite wrestler in the UK, and if one reads what has been written here about him, that might very well be true! :) The first time I met him, I flew over to spend the weekend to wrestle him. I stupidly forgot my credit card, and he treated me to my meals. So thanks for all the food! :) As others have already said, he is a very good wrestler, and a gentleman on and off the mats. But beneath that smile and (I think deliberately) dorky exterior, there are flashes of mean which he tries to suppress – just like Clark Kent/Superman or David Banner/Hulk, hahaha! But that makes him more interesting, and without that streak, he won't be a good wrestler, right? :) I may not be in the same caliber of build or experience as him or the other guys that he usually wrestles, but I can truly say that he is my friend.

He's a great guy - knowledgeable, strong, and tough. He's tremendously skilled at jiu-jitsu and willing to help you work on technique. I highly recommend him and look forward to another match.

Tough fun guy! Very hard to beat - but I did each time!!! Well worth meeting up with.

Nice friendly, genuine guy. Had a great gut punching session with him. Very creative and variable challenges. He's happy to push himself when receiving and is also a great, accurate puncher too.
