Last week, someone finally posted a link to the scene from an old Russian movie, where a hug like that happens. Unfortunately the fight is brief and they only do two hugs. I really wanted to see the fight go on for much longer, just with a bear hug, and for the victory to happen without any other blows. Unfortunately that doesn't happen in the video, but it already sets up one of the best videos I've ever seen. I also really wanted to know what the actors talk about before and during the fight, so I asked a Russian man here on the site to translate the dialogue that takes place for me.
